 The Midwest Museum of Natural History combines a century-old tradition of public institutions devoted to the natural sciences and cultural understanding, with the 21st Century insight about the importance of connecting ourselves to life, earth and the environment.
The Museum's partnership with the Anthropology Department at Northern Illinois University (NIU) significantly enhances the Museum's value. The department is interested in increasing exposure for their own collection and is eager to provide an enhanced learning environment for NIU students and visitors of all ages.
